work today is very mellow...the office is quiet and hardly anyone here. we had our holiday party last night. it was alot of fun. food was good, everyone was happy with secret santa presents and jolly with holiday cheer. the olive dip i made went over very well...it was the only thing that got all eaten up and many people asked for the recipe! jon came to the party and said that i work at the coolest place and with the coolest most talented people...i agree! the party really got started when the guitar and mic came out. a few people performed but my favorite was a guy i work with doing a whole 30 minute "Alice's Restaurant". it was super! we have lots of food leftover that i will soon be chowin down on again. yum.
i got a gift today from another sweet person i work with. i think she is such an awesome person. i hope that when i become a mom that i am as good a one as her! she gave me a candle along with a beautiful poem...i will try to post it here.
on my way to work today i heard "Santa Baby"...love it want to sing like her!
