my weekend was great! sat night went to c's party. it was super fun. got way tipsy...too much because i got sick on the parkway...thank god jon was driving. i felt much better after that fiasco so we went along with the plan and headed over to mexicali to see my friends band and my good friends k & r from colorado! it was so great to see them...it made my weekend!

on sunday i was kind of hurting from the late night before so i pretty much did nothing...very lazy day.

christmas eve was so much fun! although i don't really celebrate, it was the best xmas eve ever! jon and i went into new york. first stop was dinner...tibetan food. i had never had it before but all i can say is oh my god so yummy! i will definitly go back for more...mmm can't wait! we did a couple of sake bombs during dinner so by the time we left we were feeling festive. next we braved the cold and headed up to rockerfeller center to see the tree. it was so amazing seeing the enormous red, white, and blue lit tree. we hung out there for awhile just taking it all in. by that time it was after 1:00 and mass was just letting out at st.patricks cathedral so we went in and each lit a candle and walked around for a few minutes. i was so amazed and captivated by the architecture and size. we decided that this is going to be a tradition every year on christmas eve. next year i want to attend the mass though.

yesterday was pretty mellow. jon and i woke up early to his sister yelling in a sweet but slightly annoying childish voice "presents, presents". so we got up and exchanged gifts with his family. he got me a pair of brown boots...i love them...(i picked them out)! he also got me a beautiful stained glass piece that i absolutly love! unfortunaly when i opened it up it was broken..he was so bummed out but seeing that it was the stores wrapping job we will put on our tough faces and demand to exchange it. i'm sure it will be no problem. i also got some cute gifts from his mom. i felt very welcome there so it was really nice. she called me her "future daughter in-law"...yikes!

all in all it was a very nice holiday...can't wait till this week is over so i can enjoy another!
